This section of the World Bowls website deals with matters relating to the training and accreditation of umpires.
In the period between October 2006 and December
2007, the World Bowls Laws Committee produced a series of
documents to support the introduction of a uniform set of
training and examination procedures worldwide. The documents
were approved by the board of World Bowls in January 2008.
In addition to the documents, a DVD has been
produced to complement the training process. Copies can be
obtained by contacting the appropriate National Authority
- details of which can be found by clicking on 'Members' on
the home-page of the World Bowls website.
